This is where I show some of the rugs and mats that have been made to order and sold. The techniques are varied as are the sizes. Let me know what you would like to have made bespoke for you.
Our fleeces are sourced from animals that are well loved and cared for within the North Auckland area, and Dunedin, some even have names! The wool is hand washed with our own soap, hand spun, hand twisted or felted right here at our place, and then lightly scented with Thyme essential oil. This will dissipate over time.
Sheep breeds we have access to are, Arapawa, Gotland, Border Leicester, Black Nose Valais, Perindale and Romney mostly cross breeds.
We do not use chemicals, or solvents in any of our processes.

The rugs in the photos will give an idea of colours and textures available.
Rugs will shed fibres, to refresh rug roll it up and take it outside and gently shake it. Over time the rug will begin to felt together. Avoid vacuuming and wash as with woolen items.

In the event of damaged or faulty products, or incorrect products being packed, we are happy to replace the goods at no extra charge. Please choose your items carefully as we do not refund or replace products for incorrect orders being processed.
These rugs are hand made and will be perfect in their imperfection and rustic appearance and quality.
